Process

  • What is an accessible bathroom?

An accessible bathroom is designed to make bathing safer and easier for people with reduced mobility, disabilities or age-related challenges. This can include features such as walk-in showers, walk-in baths, wet rooms, grab rails and non-slip flooring.

  • Who are accessible bathrooms suitable for?

Accessible bathrooms are ideal for elderly users, disabled individuals, those living with long-term health conditions such as arthritis, or anyone looking to future-proof their home.

  • Should I choose a walk-in shower, accessible bath or wet room?

This is largely determined by your needs, the space available and your budget. Walk-in showers work best in small bathrooms, whereas larger bathrooms might have room for a walk-in bath or wet room. Our experienced surveyors will discuss the available options at the free home survey.

Survey

  • Do you provide a free home survey?

Yes, we offer a FREE no-obligation home visit to assess your needs and recommend the best solution.

  • Will you design my bathroom?

Yes, we will create a full design for you to visualise how your new accessible bathroom will look, and we’re always happy to make amendments to make it fit your budget and your style.

  • I usually have someone help me bathe, can they be present at the survey?

Yes, we encourage family members, carers or OTs to be present when we visit you at home so they can be sure you are receiving the best advice regarding a new bathroom, shower or wet room and they are fully aware of the design and the costs.

Installation

  • How long does a bathroom installation take?

Most installations can be completed in as little as 3–7 days, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

  • Will there be a lot of disruption during installation?

We aim to keep disruption to a minimum and complete installations as efficiently as possible while maintaining high standards.

  • Will I be left without water or washing and toileting facilities?

Sometimes we need to turn off the hot water for a short time. This usually only happens if you have an old heating system and lasts about 1-2 hours.

  • Are your installers qualified and checked?

Yes, all of our team members are experienced, fully trained and DBS checked for your peace of mind.

  • Do you offer emergency installation?

Yes, when time is critical, our Emergency Installation service will ensure you or your loved one has a bathroom ready as soon as possible.

  • Do you offer guarantees?

Yes, we offer a 12-month Installation Warranty as standard, with the option to extend this to our Lifetime Warranty. Products are covered by their own manufacturer’s guarantees.

  • Do you offer aftercare?

Yes, we’re always just a phone call away, so you can feel confident long after your installation is complete.

Cost

  • How much does an accessible bathroom cost?

Costs vary depending on your needs, layout and chosen features. We provide free home surveys and transparent, fixed price quotations to help you find the right solution. There is never any obligation to proceed and we won’t pester you to decide.

  • Can I get financial help for a new bathroom?
