Living Well Bathrooms (formerly known as AHM Installations) is a company built on 27 years of experience designing and installing accessible bathrooms across the UK. We help people live confidently and with freedom by creating safer, practical spaces that support independence and everyday comfort.
Our story began in 1999, when Simon and Julie Symcox founded Assisted Health & Mobility (AHM) with a simple mission, to make bathing safer and easier for people living with mobility challenges. Combining Julie’s nursing background with Simon’s experience in the mobility sector, the business was built on care, understanding and trust.
Over time, the company evolved into AHM Installations, becoming one of the UK’s most trusted providers of walk-in showers, walk-in baths, wet rooms and mobility bathrooms. Today, we continue that journey as Living Well Bathrooms, a name that better reflects our focus on helping people live well in their homes.
While our name has evolved, our values haven’t. We are still a proudly family-run company with Simon and Julie’s son Charlie leading an experienced team with the same high standards, and the same commitment to treating every customer with care and respect.
